Watch Santa test his new sleigh - WATCH NOW
Sick of the Baltic conditions of the North Pole, Santa traded in his old sleigh for a hot and steamy upgrade – a floating Hot tub aka the HotTug. Taking it for a spin with Mrs Claus and his cheeky elves they floated up through King’s Cross and along the Regents Canal in Central London, handing out early Christmas presents to Londoners who have been well behaved this year.
In a dry (or should we say wet run for Christmas), The Claus’s and the elves soaked up the sights of London in a balmy 38C of fresh water, heated by the HotTug’s inbuilt wood burning stove, whilst they steered the tug boat come hot tub through icy waters.
HotTug founder Tommo said, “It was such a honor to have the Claus’s here, we are proud to announce we have renamed the HotTug “SantaTug” for the Christmas period and urge Londoners to book in to experience the Christmas magic from the water as spaces are booking up fast”
Santa Claus, “It was time for an upgrade and something that would be fun for Mrs Claus and my elves, this winter warmer was a much smoother ride than my old sleigh and after a long day handing out presents a soak in the HotTug is just what I need!”
The “Santa Tug”as renamed for the festive period, is a floating hot tub which you sail in. Each HotTug can fit up to 7 passengers inside and can be hired on a self drive basis from HotTug UK in Angel, Islington.
Since launching in August 2017, The HotTug has proved to be London’s most unique attraction. Phenomenal customer reviews have seen the attraction storm through TripAdvisor's rankings, seeing it surpass well established attractions such as London Zoo.
The Santa Tug is available for rent with prices from just £32 per person.
